During my final semester at Emerson College, I took a Studio Television Production course. When it came time for final projects, my group was chosen to go first, meaning we were given a week to put our final together. In seven days, we conceptualized, wrote a script, cast our “COOM! crew,” held a dance rehearsal, laid down the vocals and composed the instrumentals for the theme song, hung lights, designed and executed a set, set up an extra camera on the light grid for an aerial shot, held camera rehearsals, and put on our 10-minute final project.

Not everything in this is perfect, specifically, we had some snafus with the audio when we found out the day of our shoot that we would not have enough wireless lavaliere mics for the entire cast. We made do, however, and I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out considering the amount of time we had to put it together.

Everything in the video you’re about to see was done live, there was no post-production or second-takes on this.
