i’ve got a half hour left in this place, meaning i have successfully spent three and a half hours here doing little to nothing.  i’ve researched potential grad school programs, i’ve retouched a headshot in photoshop, and i’ve turned my laptop on and off about nine times after it froze after about five minutes of being turned on each time.

i really have no idea what i’m writing this entry for, other than the fact that i need something to do here. i’m going stir crazy. all i’ve been able to do all evening was stress out about the laundry list of things that i need to accomplish this evening, and being stuck here has not helped me in completing any of those tasks.

i want to go to sleep, wake up, and pretend like none of this ever happened.

yes.

the good news is that, apparently, my applecare coverage on my macbook pro will cover the entire cost of replacing the hard drive.

the bad news is that the hard drive needs to be replaced.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

just finished a bunch of mockups for a meeting with the fabulous morgan first tomorrow afternoon. there we will discuss colors and fonts. oh, the fonts. they’re stunning.

jeremy just asked me to be his date to his 10 year high school reunion.

i am reminded that goodies are sometimes oldies, and my oldie is certainly a goodie.

so yes, classes have begun again and i am less than thrilled about that fact. my classes this semester are actually incredibly interesting, it’s just that feeling that i’m being pulled away from things that actually matter. emerson college just needs to give me the piece of paper and let me out of there. jackie needs to stop drinking away my tuition money.

in other news, too fabulous for words is doing quite well, quite well indeed! we’ve got quite a roster of clients keeping us on our toes and coming up with some top notch design.

also, i was just hired as the designer of the 2008-2009 map boston planner! go check out the motion affair planner website to learn about this fabulous project! and then GO BUY ONE (after august, of course, that’s when the one i design will be out).

what else? not much to tell. jeremy leaves tomorrow for a conference in detroit until sunday, that’s sad. i have more writing and reading than i care to think of to get done tonight, so i should probably go attend to that. like attending the tale of sweeney todd, only not really.
